To all those who enjoy cooking, would you be insulted if someone didnt like your cooking?

my girls didn't want to learn to cook ,Mom and I both tried to teach them ,,
they kept saying their men better know how ,my youngest still says that ,and he can't ,but bless him he tries .
One is the queen of the microwave and one a George Forman grill
My middle ones man told me he won my Daughters heart with a steak ,
I said baby was it good ? she gets this look and says Babe ,it was a sweet gesture ,but you need my Dad to show you how to cook a steak LOL
I am disabled ,so I was not able to do a lot of things for my girls some Dads might have ,
But I always made sure they were proud of my cooking
They used to think all great cooks worked for Disney
so they always used to say I needed to get a job at Disney too ,
I still love cooking for my family ,apparently they still like eating it
and none of them want any one to cook their steaks but me ,,and I don't do anything special ,,I always thought no one could cook like my Mom and Grandma too ,and Mom especially her steaks ,I can never make one taste like hers did
Pan ,Grill ,Broiler ,she could cook beef of any kind to die for

everyone needs to learn how to cook in my opinion, why rely on someone else all the time. I learned to cook from a young age just watching my Mom and grandmother. Also watching a lot of cooking shows.

@oodlesofnoodles My Daughter can make a Turkey in a microwave or a crock pot that will blow your mind ,they can cook ,(no one could have convinced me you can cook a good turkey on a microwave ,but I would have been wrong ,cakes ,or pretty much anything you can make in an oven and on the stove ,she can nuke it .
but its just not like I cook or Mom or Grandma ,,lots of prep ,all day cooking something so its super tender and full of flavor ,,,not just tasting like boiled beef .
But hey if their men want to cook for them ,who am I to complain
Dad cooks too ,and they think no one can cook like Dad ,,not even Mom

I'm not convinced on nuking everything but if it works for them fantastic.

but I can tell you ,,any thing most people can cook so can she
but in a fraction of the time ..she blows my mind ,I am not easy to impress
I have a bunch of microwave cook books ,I guess she was the only one who used them ,
I am telling you ,,she can cook ,,but her man likes to cook for her
She raises 5 kids ,2 of them Autistic ,1 has seizures, and she is a nurse ,she and her older Sister take's care of the mentally challenged in their homes .
So I don't know many who would want to wear her shoes
The special needs kids aren't hers ,but she loves her man enough to raise them
and he don't mind cooking ,,,He gets the better end of the deal I assure you
Their Mom did a number on those kids ,,now they are self reliant
not veggies pointing and whimpering for someone to wait on them
my Daughter has the tough job ,her man agrees ,and like her cooking ,
she surprises people ,cooking and with the kids
A bunch of us make fun of her about the microwave ,but I can't do with it what she does ,I guess she just has the nack ,,Dads still king of the smoker
No you can't nuke a turkey and get it to taste like mine ,but hers is good .

I'm not sure what to say to that, taking care of special needs like that takes a special kind of person. I applaud anyone that takes on that kind of responsibility as not many people have the patience required to do so.
