In Vietnam they have these duck eggs that were fertilized but then boiled before the ducklings could fully form and hatch. I couldn't bring myself to try any I'm just bringing it up to make everyone feel better about their grossest thing. My grossest this was this, it's a jello parfait in a glass of sweetened milk with nasty vegetables and other random crap.
@Fluffypanda Probably. Everything is different there. None of the milk is refrigerated because it's not real milk. I was there for three weeks, went shopping everyday and spent under $120 US. Things are so inexpensive there, you can buy an entire cake for like two dollars. It was like 100degrees everyday but the women all wear face masks, gloves, jackets, pants and socks with their sandals because they all want to be as white as possible. Being white is beautiful to them. When I was on the bus people would stand up and offer me their seat (I never took it because I'm not an asshole.). My first day there I went out with our interpretor, we walked by this old lady he started laughing telling me she muttered to herself "So beautiful." As I walked by. These one girls who worked at the beauty supply store followed me around and tried to touch my hair. It was flattering in a way but also pretty awkward. You can't drink the water there either or you'll get very sick, even the locals drink bottled or boiled water.
