Should I become a professional mermaid?

I’ve always been fascinated by pirates (hence why I like mermaids) because I’ve been watching One Piece since I was 10. I’ve been following professional Mermaids on social media lately and I’m entranced by them. Their life seems so cool.

The only time I've seen a professional mermaid was at the Renaissance Fair. I can't imagine that's a fun job.
