Do You Like Tater Tots? Have Any Holiday Recipes?

@Musicman Have you ever seen Pioneer Woman cooking show on cable? She lives in Oklahoma and films from their ranch. She made a Thanksgiving dinner but I wouldn’t have wanted to eat it. Changed everything traditional to make it fancier and so much more fatty than it has to be. And she seems rather fond of using rosemary in her dishes. Had 2 or 3 with it. I like rosemary but Thanksgiving dinner should have used some sage. I like her show but this was too much, trying to outdo herself and push more merchandise. She has a small line of furniture being sold at Walmart now.

@cherokeepatti Oh yes! Many times. I haven't seen her Thanksgiving one, but I enjoy her show too. Some of her stuff looks really good 😋😋😋

@Musicman yes a lot of her food looks good. But she needs to go back to a more traditional Thanksgiving. Too much fat on top of a heavy meal like that is no good.

@cherokeepatti A traditional meal is better in my opinion. But, I am sure the TV people want over the top.

@Musicman She has to do something different to get viewers I guess. She may be over commercializing herself but the money keeps pouring in so that won’t stop. Just like with Joanna & Chip Gaines. The good thing is that she is establishing local businesses so that each one of her children will have one when they grow up if that’s what they want to do. She is looking out for her family. I think they have 5 children now.

@cherokeepatti Five kids! Wow! I know Chip and Joanna Gaines have five kids. I know both her and Joanna both have magazines too.

@Musicman They had 4 children that they were showing in the videos and one day she said she wanted to have another one, and she did. How she kept helping run all those businesses is beyond me with another newborn but her mother and sister have helped her out hugely I’m sure.

@Musicman When Bobby Flay won that chicken fried steak throwdown I knew those judges were paid off, and I have hated Flay since.

@NativePortlander1970 It's hard to believe that a cast iron cooking cowboy would have 2.7 million followers.

@Musicman I can believe it, after his stolen moment, Rollins started his youtube channel. Another one I used to watch was the BBQ Pit Boys.

@NativePortlander1970 yeah I don’t get why he is so popular.

@cherokeepatti Because Flay is part owner of food network, him, Guy Fieri, Ted Allen, Alton Brown, and a few others, bailed out the channel when it was close to bankruptcy in the late 90's.

@NativePortlander1970 every damn thing is rigged these days. He’s a part of the club and apparently Rollins wasn’t. I’ve heard from people who know that even sports is rigged.

@cherokeepatti Exactly, have you seen Flay's other abomination show? "Beat Bobby Flay", where that douchebag wins roughly 90% of the time, against seasoned Chefs, using ingredients he picked 🙄

@NativePortlander1970 Maybe a couple of times and am not a fan so I don’t seek out his show.

@cherokeepatti You can see how the rotating hosts of the show hilariously passive aggressively roasts Flay mercessly to piss him off enough to mess up, yet Flay still wins nearly every single time, proving it's all rigged.
