21st March is Mother's Day in the Mideast

Except in my home because mom thinks it's forbidden to celebrate any festivals outside of her religion. But then she congratulates her mother anyways 🤔🤔🤔 but she doesn't like it when her mother congratulates her or when we do it. Imagine getting her a gift 🧐 speaking (typing) of gifts again she doesn't mind getting one for grandma.

So basically that's the topic on this day every year then again a few days later on her birthday.

I'm not sure who to blame anymore but it's ridiculous what preachers do to force people not to think for themselves. Their excuse is "Mothers should be celebrated every day" which is more like a pretty cover to convince people not to do anything about it. Like a God would care about a simple congrats 😮 how come those same preachers say he's merciful, I have no idea.

P.S my mother is still a sweet person and I'm very lucky to have her.

Women are complicated.
Hug her a little tighter for those of us who no longer have have a mother to hug this Mother's Day...
