Bouncing around on a pogo stick

What I like about being alive is that I learn some newfound truth thru others and myself. I am grateful for this new knowledge. And when I meet another person who has discovered this truth as well, it’s as if we are both using a pogo stick together and for the first time after Christmas day. We are smiling and laughing together until. One of us falls, or we both do. And in that moment, when I am down, I am most grateful that I did not laugh at others but with others. And when a family or friend or even a stranger struggles, knowing who I am, what I believe, hope and care for, that is my center. Ms I look forward even to the next fall, as long as it is forward, and can be helpful to others. No matter who, yes, but especially to my closest family members and friends. Dear God, help me be present for those who will accept … or need me most.
