I didn't realise just how bad I really am with money

I started this week with $900, and now have $150.
- $250 went into my savings
- $138 went on Warhammer yesterday
- $104 went on Warhammer on Thursday
That still leaves $258 that I've spent on food and stuff. I really fell off a cliff on this one, and will be getting back to my far more strict budget next week when I get paid again. The downsides to getting bonuses lol

250 to saving thats good almost 28% thats massive! Especially by American standards. But yea 25% on warhammer that seems unwise. There are worse hobbies though. 30% on food about right. What about rent?

@exchrist rent has already been covered for the fortnight. This was just my leftover money from my bonus and my wages after everything I need to pay has come out

@KiwiDan ah thats good return some "disposable income" too. Even still rainy day fund should always be carefully increased. Pay bills first payoff debts second plan for future expenses third. Invest for growth fourth. Spend disposable income 5th. Were you able to maintain that basic outline?
If like me you are in America times are likely to be tough; especially given DJT. So save as much as you can and buy assets.

@KiwiDan do you have an emergency fund? Emergency fund is 5th "disposable income" doesnt exist, until retirement
