@caPnAhab I agree with that. So many people don’t even use cash now as it is. I just wish that I had been schooled in the fine art of horse-trading so I could barter and trade up. That would be a very valuable skill.
@cherokeepatti One of the somewhat hidden pages in the old craigslist marketplace was bartering and trade, one story that made the national news was how one older teenage kid started a series of trades that within two years he went from a mountain bike to a Porche Boxer, no actual cash was involved.

@NativePortlander1970 I remember that. Reminded me of a student at the university in the early 80’s who bought up sports and concert tickets as soon as they came out and then resold them at a profit for cash. He made enough money within one year to buy a Trans-Am car, paid cash for it.
