Why do people in stock exchanges wear clothes that looks like a 'flight suit' or something astro-not's like Katy Perry would wear?

I'm assuming there is functional purpose behind it, but most people don't have any idea how a stock exchange works or know what stock trading actually is.

Many floor traders wear distinctive outfits, to identify wgich broker that work for, for similar reasons that jockeys weat patterned silks. So that at a distance they can quickly be positively identidied as they call offers and prices..😷
