I noticed that every time there's a snow storm...a hurricane or something like that
My car insurance goes up like clockwork smh i'm paying $265 for full coverage and its going up to $281 no tickets or accidents in 30 plus years.

@ninalanyon And close to double what I pay for a petrol Outlander in Oz.. And I optimised mine a couple of years ago because of my low risk through not driving much..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I do between 20 000 and 25 000 km a year, half of it outside Norway. If I were to cut that down mine would be cheaper again. I do have a fairly high egenandel though, can't remember what the English for it is, I have to pay the first 4 kNOK of any claim (about 400 USD).

@ninalanyon I think the word you are looking for is "excess". The first co payment before the insurance kicks in. my current mileage is about 10% of yours. My car has sat in the carport for 2 months now, because I cant drive due to a leg operation. and my excess is about the same as yours, but in $A.. This year will be different I believe..😷

@ninalanyon Thank you. All will be well.. I am just clearing a backlog of medical issues I deferred while caring for my wife. A cataract is next.. Then I am off to join the circus ! (Metaphorically speaking)😷
