Have You Heard The Term “Relationship Bank” ?

I saw this on a sign a few weeks ago. Am seeing tv commercials with banks advertising themselves as a relationship bank. They are saying that they are looking out for their customers financial welfare with loans or whatever they are doing with the bank. Is this some kind of new set of rules for this type of bank or what?

I worked for a couple of banks in their IT dep't. They've pushed the relationship nonsense for years to help justify the ridiculous fees they charge to remain afloat. But in the age of the internet, more people want to do their banking online. So ow they are doubling down.
