Should couples have joint bank accounts or keep finances separate?

@Moneyonmymind Because I believe in “What’s mine is yours, and what’s yours is mine.”

@Bleak that’s not a reality for most couples and you know it. As long as there is trust and a CLEAR indication as to who pays what, what purpose does a joint account solve? We can pay for things separately and be just fine.

@Moneyonmymind Yes I know it very well. I dont pay for anything because my husband never asks me to do so.

@Bleak in that case I would hope you contribute elsewhere
