WARNING TO BRITS PUBLIC PARKING SCAM PLEASE READ .

Please take notice my mum lost 650 pound before blocking her bank card . She is disabled and parked in a local carpark displaying her disability badge . Got back to her car and got approached by a guy dressed as a traffic warden. He told her she still had to pay or be fined . She is 92 and wasnt sure so when he offered to show her how to pay by card at the machine she just thought he was being helpful sadly he wasnt . He scammed her telling her the machine had swallowed her card and pretended to phone his bosses to come down and get her card out the machine which he had secretly slipped in his pocket and managed to look over her shoulder when she put in her pin . While she was distracted he disappeared . By the time she realised what had happened and phoned the bank he had with drawn 650 pound out of her account . Luckily the bank were very understanding and blocked the card and reimbursed the money to her account . The police were also told and are investigating . Please warn anyone you know as we dont know how wide spread this scam is .
