Laugh at me
So I haven’t really got to talk about it, but I had a zoom meeting on the 22nd this month with my trustee, my attorney and a bunch of other people who are also bankrupting and it was one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life.
I wanted to go in person, but this was the option I was given and I wasn’t given another one and I paid over $2000 to do this so I didn’t really have a choice
So I tried to use an iPad that is kind of old and when I joined in my microphone wasn’t working and the whole time the trustee was talking to me like I was retarded so I panicked and had to reload using a brand new phone I borrowed from my family and my microphone finally started working but then because of that everything just kept going to hell afterward
I asked if they could hear me and someone’s voice that I did not recognize said yes, and the camera was pointing at a couple who were bankrupting and I said oh thank God and I saw them laugh but then I thought who the fuck were those people and I didn’t hear anyone else that had previously told me they couldn’t hear me so I mumbled I don’t know what to do out of stress and I heard my attorney scold me and say we can hear you turn your microphone off. Trustee said “if you can figure out how to mute it”
He decided to ask me my questions first because obviously I’m the goofball and they wanted me to get the fuck out of there when he asked me to raise my right hand I froze after swearing and he told me to put my hand down.
In the very end he asked if the creditors had any questions for me and the creditors didn’t say anything and it was quiet for so long and I was so lost and I heard my attorney say you can leave now and the trustee immediately scolded him for telling me to leave Because I’m so stupid. I didn’t know to leave so when I got off that meeting, I felt devastated and traumatized it was just horrible. 🤣
