@Nimbus Insurance does not cover everything. It doesn't pay for the ambulance, and it doesn't pay 100% of the doctor and hospital bills.

@AbbeyRhode A corrupt congress allows it. They make billions in profits by denying coverage. That needs to stop.

@TexChik True, same with the cost of medications. Even with insurance, they are very expensive.

@AbbeyRhode Big Pharma needs some competition. We need to allow European drug manufacturers into our market.

@TexChik It would also help if doctors were actually trained to treat the illness, instead of pushing pills to treat symptoms.

@AbbeyRhode There are doctors out there that do, but most only push big pharma pills. Mine is big on supplements, diet, exercise, and sleep

@TexChik You're lucky to have one like that. Everyone in my family is taking all kinds of medications. I refuse to do it, though. I'm doing Keto and Intermittent Fasting, and will never take anything but natural supplements.

@AbbeyRhode She is my next-door neighbor. She always borrows my corsets so she has to keep me around for that.

@AbbeyRhode Yep, she is sweet and has helped us through many medical disasters (she's chief of Trauma at our local hospital) . She can't fit into my corsets and they come back unwearable, so I bought some her size and put them in my drawer. Mine I keep hidden. She is always there for us, so it's not a bother to do it. Just crazy. 🤣

@AbbeyRhode Yes she is adorable. We walk into each other's houses all the time. One of us needs something so we walk right in. If my husband is cooking something that smells amazing, here she comes. Her husband is a nephrologist and runs a transplant team. He is rarely seen.

@TexChik It's lovely to have that friendship and trust with someone. Some people aren't that close with their own family members.
