Should bank loan and credit card interest rates be tied to inflation?

Personally I think people with good credit and all student loans should be tied to the rate of inflation 3.5% on average. For people with “bad credit” or if for late payments interest rates should be no more than some factor of inflation I think 2x! Similarly single parents and municipal borrowing should be no more than inflation. It’d increase the value of currency year over year and reduce inflation in the long run.
Any feedback is welcomed.Have a good day!
