My younger brother was selected to play AFL for a team in another state. So I loaned him $10,000 to get him started. He said he'd pay me back as soon as he got his first pay check. The prick quit after the first week and has never mentioned the money...
Apparently he has an account he uses for his gambling that is only for his gambling. And doesn't draw from it for anything else, mooching off of his family when his broke but boasted he had $40,000 grand... He asked me to help him with groceries (His kids will starve) when he had spent all that money on a PS5 playstation.
