I think it's an appreciation of a well performed choreographed stunt program, just like some people appreciate watching acrobats and such. Plus the per-adolescent power fantasy of it all.

@DunningKruger Interesting. Is it genuinely cool to some people? It reminds me of real life roleplaying groups. Like the ones that dress up in old armor and stuff.

@WhyThooo Some people do, indeed. I liked it when I was a kid. It was a lot smaller and regional. It wasn’t until the ‘80s it became big business. I haven’t cared about it since I was maybe 10.

@DunningKruger I guess it makes sense if it's aimed at children. Seeing a bunch of grown dudes liking it confuses and intrigues me. Guess it's similar to Disney World adults or something, people holding onto their favorite childhood stuff.
