And I can say with some confidence that if OJ Simpson had been accused of killing his first wife and maybe a waiter from "Cletus’ Rib Joint” even if he’d been convicted he would probably have continued to be a hero all his days.

Can't say I'm a Tyson fan or even aware of what he's been doing, so I didn't know he's had "renewed popularity". I was vaguely aware of his long fight with mental problems and that he appears to be two different people: one when he's on his prescribed meds and one when he's not. I guess that makes me a bit more accepting of his failures than I am of Simpson's.
