Boxing fans: Who was the greatest pro fighter ever? [I Like Boxing]

Tell why you think he/she was the greatest fighter ever.

I would probably consider:

Muhammed Ali
Smokin'Joe Frazier
Mike Tyson

Possibly Marciano, the only heavyweight champ to retire unbeaten. Ali, Frazier, Foreman, and Norton were all giants of the sport. Tyson isn't worth to be in the same room with any of them. Tyson only looked good because there were no really good heavyweights around while he was active.

@MrBrownstone Somebody Up There must've liked him.

I once saw a video of Joe Frazer fighting Mike Tyson; Frazer won on a technical knockout in the 7th round. Later, they ran the cameras back and counted 479 blows Frazer had taken from Iron Mike (one of the hardest hitters in boxing). I am still stunned and amazed just thinking about it; most of us couldn't take ONE blow from Iron Mike without winding up unconscious and hospitalized. Frazer is one tough guy.

Ali. Though I admired smokin Joe the most...I liked his style.

Sugar Ray Robinson

Floyd Mayweather. I actually hate him but he is one of the best boxers. I'll try to forget that he boxed Conor McGregor too 🤦🏼‍♀️ Love Mike Tyson. He's up there too.

@lucetta12 Mayweather is a genius.

@justbob he's so skilled, it's crazy. Watching him fight Ricky Hatton 😳. It's like he was just born to fight.
