Absolutely no benefits to the owner. Increased anxiety, increased emotional workload, increased risk of domestic abuse, increased fear of the outside world.

If your doorbell is giving you anxiety, change the tune to something soothing. How else are you supposed to hear someone at the door? 馃槄
@SW-User doorbells are fine. I'm talking about the RING ones with a camera on, every time someone comes near your house it switches on the camera and alerts your phone so you can watch who is outside your house.

@OhIsMe ohh those. Nest or something like that. All my family have some form of it. Lol. I think some of them have disabled the ring because it annoys them.
