I think I'd go with alter and see memories and find lost memories. Then I'd seek work as a trauma therapist and help people overcome horrific experiences. Be able to see to understand and altering would be a last resort with the intention of making an experience easier to live with. So I wouldn't have them forget what happened but maybe spare some of the graphic detail. Need to be careful to not change who they are as a result of the experiences, but just enough to help them heal and move forward.

@RunawayKaz It is definitely one that would require very careful use. I'm not going to pretend I would never misuse it in small ways for personal advantage. I try to be good, but I'm not perfect. There's a lot of room to go full on super-villain in this one, but it is also one of the more potent ones for being able to help people.

@ViciDraco I dunno man, all that trauma will change you, and not in a good way. It isn't your trauma but will hit you all the same, especially if it involves things you feel strongly about.

@MisterBander I suppose a good question is whether I could alter my own memories if the trauma becomes too much. I'm already in a position where I care way too much about everyone and everything though, so it already affecting me. So may as well have Adnan ability to do something about it.
