The backwards time travel one is impossible for multiple reasons. It's far more likely to go fowards in time, than backwards even. And basically we have already done that to a very minor degree.

Foreword time travel a relativistic affect of Einstein's theory of relativity.

I know, I know, you are thinking in a fantasy mainer. Yet even fantasy must have some limits. Otherwise in becomes insanity. And backwards time travel is definitely that insane.

Forgetting relativity, the impossibly of such a thing could be demonstrated through the impossibility of negative rates of change. It just can't be shown. Everything changes in a positive direction.

@DeWayfarer This kind of sounds like a square or circle claiming that there can be no third dimension to me.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@ViciDraco Not exactly. More like a Gas claiming that it's a Liquid and forgetting that a Solid exists.

You're are forgetting in your own example, that a dot would be the first dimension BTW.

Just how would a dot view a sphere when it only conceptualize squares and circles.

Please don't make me use even more examples. We literally would at this forever.

@DeWayfarer I did not forget anything. I did not need to go all the way to the dot to make my point. Are you okay?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@ViciDraco Perfectly F.I.N.E. by your own perspective.

Think outside of your perspectives box though.
