I used to wet myself often as a kid too. Mostly it was by accident but i did it on purpose a few times too, usually because I was out playing and didn't want to go inside.

In the winter I always used to pee in my snow pants, instead of going inside, tracking snow everywhere and taking off multiple layers. My sister and cousins did the same thing too. My family considered it an acceptable thing for kids to do.

In the summer we went often to a lakeside park to swim. There were no toilets there so I just peed in my swim shorts any time I had to go. Other kids I knew did the same too. It was no big deal.

I had a friend who would let out some when his pressure became too intense, then wait until the next peak of his need, and so on, gradually peeing himself completely.

Also, I remember one day when I was 9 and walking home from school with a friend who was dying for a pee. He held himself all the time with a hand in his pocket and would helplessly "walk on the spot" or in a sudden circle whenever we happened to stop for a moment. At one of these moments he suddenly stopped moving his feet, stood still and took his hand out of the pocket. First his lap got wet, then a streak went down one of his pants legs and pee started dripping on the pavement. He looked down, watching the wetness spread in the denim as he let it all out, his face being feverish with embarrassment while it happened. We had stopped talking, then walked on without making any comment about the wetting, as if nothing had happened. His jeans were so obviously discoloured and soaked, there was nothing to hide. I know he got spanked at home later.

I have a friend who was very similar. When he hit puberty his bladder didn’t and it was very small and overactive. He used to have a lot of small accidents, though I never noticed any major ones. But seeing a medium sized wet spot on the crotch of his pants by the end of our play dates was not uncommon. I peed my pants a little in front of him on purpose once as a dare. I enjoy peeing my pants on purpose, so it was really fun for me.

A few questions. How often did this happen? Was this like a daily thing, or once every month or so? Was this every time you hung out with your friends or every time you had to pee while hanging with your friends, or only once in a while? I know you said it happened a lot more when you were wearing rain or snow pants, so how “more often” was it? Do you remember any particular times, or any particular reactions of friends? Did it only happen when playing with your friends? Was there a difference you had in accidents 12 and younger vs 13-18? Do you think this had an effect on the rest of your life?
