My mom used it on me from age 12 to almost 16. Full time the summers I turned 13 and 14 back in 1969/70 before anyone knew what DD was.

Ironically, up till that time only plastic sheet svand towels were used for my bedwetting. The diapers were punishment for not making to poop in time and for the habit of leaving skids marks. After the punishment phase I was in night diapers till I was 17 1/2 for bedwetting.

@bigjohndl: Okay, then it doesn't seem such a strange punishment, if you didn't go to the bathroom in time this seems to be more a rescue than a punishment.
And surely you must have liked to wear diapers at night, and not wake up in a wet bed :-)
That is why I didn't mind to wear diapers, after the first days of getting used to them.
