This used to happen for me whenever we went somewhere at a distance or a very busy place.

That's one way to do it! Depending on their age... My mom always said if the car stopped somewhere that meant everyone went to the bathroom. "I don't need to go" wasn't an excuse, you just had to go try regardless. After about age 12 it was up to each person's discretion though :-)

@MyTurn I remember my Dad being so exasperated when I would want to stop only a few minutes after we had already stopped. Also when you stop all the time you end up spending money. So any long journeys, like over an hour at least, meant a nappy for me.
