I Diaper My Kids On Roadtrips

I hated being diapered for long trips

Ma'am
Could you put it on yourself or was it put on you?
How obvious was it under clothing?
How frequently were nappy changes?

My friend has a 10 yo daughter who wears pull-ups on trips because she either needs to go when they cannot stop easily, she would have an accident, or she would hold it too long.

That's one way to do it! Depending on their age... My mom always said if the car stopped somewhere that meant everyone went to the bathroom. "I don't need to go" wasn't an excuse, you just had to go try regardless. After about age 12 it was up to each person's discretion though :-)

I always make my nephew wear a diaper if we go somewhere. It makes things a whole lot easier. Hes 12 years old.

I’ve always had a weak bladder ever since I was little. I didn’t come out of diapers until I was 3. I would have probably benefited from being diapered on road trips as my mum always had to take me behind a tree to pee as I couldn’t hold it longer enough for the service stations and even when we finally reached them I still needed to go. I wear diapers now for bed as my bladder seems terrible at night and I can’t stop peeing. I am considering wearing diapers in the future for road trips. Even if I didn’t drink or hardly drinked during the road trips my bladder was still weak. I may have been uncomfortable wearing diapers in my childhood but sometimes they are needed even though I didn’t return to them until I was 17.

I wish my parents did that on me when young on road trips. Too many close calls. Even if the kids are potty trained during daytime I think it is smart to have them ware diapers on road trips. It saves so much time and prevents accidental stains on your interior.

I don't but we usually have to stop because of my legs long trips make them hurt so we stop 45 minutes to an hour to stretch our legs. I also don't punish when they have to use the bathroom some times I can have to go in a matter of nothing one minute and the next it feels like I'm going to have an accident.

I wore nappies in the car on longer journeys until 15 but full time until 9

I wish my parents did on me when we had long road trips. Too many close calls. However as I am now older in my 40's I have to wear diapers at all times now.

I have thought about doing that .. never did tho ..

I actually have a very weak bladder. If I don't use the bathroom immediately, I nearly pee my pants. Thanks for the possible kidney stones, Mom.
