@Babygirl85 ...because the chances are better for infection with that.

@SomeMichGuy I’m having bladder retention
SomeMichGuy · M
@Babygirl85 Yes...periodic/intermittent catheterization is much less likely to result in infection.

Getting back to your original post, first of all- Welcome to Similar Worlds.
I have had several catheters during hospital stays, but they were removed before leaving the hospital. I have also inserted caths into both males and females. There should not be any pain, but a sensation of pressure as normally nothing goes in that direction. Cleanliness and sterility are all important!

@WolfGirlwh0r3 here’s the truth. I’m actually looking forward to getting a catheter.
WolfGirlwh0r3 · 36-40, T
@Babygirl85 There is nothing wrong with that
Babygirl85 · 36-40, F
@WolfGirlwh0r3 I’m doing what’s right for me bc the medicine isn’t working
I think I know what I'm giving @ShepherdBard this Christmas.
ShepherdBard · 36-40, M

I’m incontinent

@Babygirl85 a catheter is not permanent. Do you live in the US? You can find a treating physician if you look hard.
Babygirl85 · 36-40, F
@samueltyler2 i’ll be getting it changed every month
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Babygirl85 that is what I said, it isn't permanent. Did you have a urodynamic study? Has there been an attempt with Botox or equivalence?

I got an indwelling catheter for a few weeks. It hurt like hell. Reason being the catheter stimulated my penis. Any erection hurt like hell. Learned to keep it well lubricated.

Sounds painful..

@Babygirl85 You've got it listed under fetish so you can understand my confusion I hope.
I take care of an incontinent woman so I do hope you keep yourself clean because that leads to skin breakdown, UTIs, yeast infections and odor.
