I Like People Who Take Off Their Shoes Before Entering A Home

This tells me that they are polite and well brought up
My partners kids automatically take their shoes off and put slippers on. She wont have barefeet on the carpets.

I was brought up like that but I always hated slippers as a kid. In winter I wear slippers but not when its warm.

Growing up we had to take shoes off at the door and wear slippers. it was in the days before central heating.I thonk its a very UK thing to change into slippers at the door

Terrible habit. I traveled a lot in Eastern Europe and they had guest slippers. I just took my own to wear.
