I Never Wear Shoes In the House

I don't like to wear shoes inside the house.
I like to keep my carpets as clean as I can, and it helps to reduce the amount of bacteria from outside that gets tracked in. There are times when people will forget this request I have, and just waltz right in wearing their shoes, and I hate it.
I just have to vacuum and spot-clean anything they happened to track in.
