Do you prefer apple/smart watches or old school watches?

I’ve always had old school sort of watch or new watches that never was a smart watch. My older brother said smart watches doesn’t interest him so what’s the point of having one if we can do the same things like we can on iPhones? I mean he does have a point.
I am thinking of getting one but I am not sure. I’m more of a vintage girl.
