I don’t know why but I’ve always liked some vintage things!

Like the cars, houses, the style and I’ve always been interested in how things were like back then. Even as a child I liked Shirley Temple and the Wizard of Oz. Also some shows from the 70s and 80s. I like Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. I do watch silent films but not often. I do like older cartoons like the Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry and a couple others. I do like the 70s.

I like alot of nostalgia myself
So do I, with some things. But stuff from the 60s and 70s bring me a sense of nostalgia, because I remember when they were new. 😃
@bijouxbroussard How cool! My parents were children in the 60s and teenagers in the 70s.
@CraftyMarieArts My age, sounds like. 😊
@CraftyMarieArts That’s a tough one for me. I’m black and it bothers me when people glamorize what was an ugly time, including the days when that movie came out. Hattie McDaniel was nominated for best supporting actress, yet she was not permitted to attend the premiere with her white costars, since the venue was a segregated theater in Atlanta, GA. When she won, she was seated at a segregated table, again away from her costars.
Before she died in 1952, she wanted to be buried in the Hollywood Cemetery. Her wish was denied—it was whites-only.
@bijouxbroussard I know! That angered me so much!! I read and watched a video about that. When she wasn’t allowed to attend the awards because she was black, that angerd me so much. They just don’t want blacks to succeed.
