For those of you with tattoos, do you find that they can become addicting? Also, did the first tattoo you got have a special meaning?

I've dated a couple girls that had a few small tattoos and they told me that they can definitely see themselves getting addicted to them. My wife has two and said at times she struggles with wanting to get another one. Do you find them addicting?

I got my first tattoo to cover up an incision I got from a major surgery. I thought that would be my only one, but now I have several, including one I literally just finished getting done not even an hour ago. 😂

@Ducky Well, I'm glad it worked out for you. One last question! Do any of them have a special meaning? One of my girlfriends had a tattoo of a dog, with her dogs name, she got it when he died. That was actually her first one. My wife has a tattoo of her grandma's ECG after her heart took it's last three beats. That one is hard to beat! 😜 Do you have a special one?

@WizardofOz Most of them I only got because them because they looked good, lol. While no particular meaning, I suppose you could say the one covering up my incision is still special in a way since it's doing away with a horrible reminder (and was was my first, of course). But I have one tattoo dedicated to my dad, one dedicated to my mom and one dedicated to my wife. I want to get some dedicated to my sister and my late uncle, but those are going to take some careful thought before I settle on what I want for them.

No, i kinda squealedgetting mine..lol it hurt a lot and it took all my strength to not quit. I now have cute lil 1/2 inch butterflies fluttering around eachother. 🦋🦋☺️

@mooncrest02 Aww... 🦋 Butterflies! Flying flowers, as I call them.

@mooncrest02 People told me one of the worst things is how bad they itch but it's important not to scratch them.
mooncrest02 · 31-35, F
@WizardofOz aw, I tell my daughter theyre fairy friends☺️🩷
I remember the itching was annoying but Id rub more vaseline on and it was a lil relieving.
Also I would get another lil tattoo but I have to let my dad know about this one before I do. Lol
