I want to get a tattoo for my birthday

Everyones pain tolerance is different, so thats a little difficult to answer. But keep in mind that a tiny needle will be puncturing your skin over and over, lol.
BE VERY particular with what you get and where you put it on your body.
I wouldn't recommend picking your tattoo out of the artists books. Find something online, that you really love and has some sort of deep meaning to you. A good tattoo artist can make a trace out of any design.
This will be something you will have with you forever. Be confident you'll be happy with it.
Yeah, there is tattoo removal, but from personal experience, it HURTS and doesn't really completely remove it.

From other users comments here I think it's mildly painful
As a person who's most afraid of needles now I've no wish to get any
Plus there's an increase risk of infection
It just makes m worried
So I think ur tattoo artist must be a descent one

i have two. for me, it wasn't painful, it just became numb in the area shortly after they started. some soreness the next day or two but nothing dramatic

They’re disgusting and look horrible IMO, so I am not a good person to ask.

I’ve never gotten one but make sure you’re committed to getting one

Coloring in and shading is the painful part but it's not that bad

Pain wasn't too bad but it felt like a sunburn for a few days

🤔......I have two on the upper arm and they were not painful at all to me...........but this just depends how tolerant you are to pain and where you get the tattoo..........Different area's of your body are more painful than other areas, I would imagine.......
