I have one on my left shoulder, skulls, a bloody dagger and all with meaning behind it, but it's so faded I need a touch up before I can ever get a pic of it. Dagger was the path we walked, the harlequin skull masks, one on each side of the blade was life and death and the large half skull behind it all was of the fallen of our unit watching over us.
Got it back in 1987 when the Army unit I was in was being disbanded. CO came up to me and asked me to come up with a few ideas for all of us to get a tat done. We'd all vote on the one we'd get. I did 5, we voted and 32 of us got it done. There are now 19 still alive and out there in total.
Planning on another on my right shoulder blade of a gargoyle crouched on a tombstone with roses growing up around it. On the tombstone is written "From Death, Springs Life". It was suppose to represent the end of something old turning to something new. For me, was the end of my marriage and a new life ahead. Not really a happy one. :D
Maybe get it in a year or two when I put the finishing touches on it. Though now it's just something I really like the design of. Doubt either of those would be inspirational to anyone else. lol Sorry so damn long of an answer.
I have a lot but my favorite are between two of them. The lotus flower on my neck which I got to represent a few things. Main one being rebirth & that one symbolized me leaving who I used to be in the past. I got it on my neck because I didn't want to hide that
@DeluxedEdition On my right butt cheek I have a bee heading toward the right. On my wife's left butt cheek is a rose. When we walk together my bee is after her rose.
