Some things that feel so good [I Wear Skirts Whenever I Can]
I can really see why some women do prefer skirts and/or dresses to wear. They are comfortable and if you have a nice set of legs even better.

At work (forester/agricultural contractor) I wear trousers, when I'm out and not at work I wear a skirt, obviously I call it a kilt like everyone else but it's cotton not wool, it's black not tartan, it has pockets and no sporran.
Why, because as you say, it's more comfortable.
