I was once similarly and loudly "shamed" by a Mennonite at Walmart. I don't know what country you live in, but I assure you it's not normal in the United States.

When I was rebuked, I was wearing a low cut top...not even too extreme. Unfortunately I had never seen Mennonites before and I was staring at the mother and the daughter trying to figure out why they were both wearing the same long skirt and the same really ugly brown shoes.

People will whitewash Islam or use whataboutery with Christianity to deflect criticism, but boy howdy is Islam a cancerous ideology.

Hey sometime you have to hear what people are not saying meaning instead of saying " Good for you wearing what you want to wear" They scream because really they want to wear short and be cooled off.

There's a middle eastern store I go to. I'm usually dressed conservative. The last time I went in I wore shorts. She didn't talk to me that time, which was weird. And her and a couple other coworkers kept staring at me and cringing. Idk it mad me sad.
