I broke down and bought myself a new pair of clogs…

I don’t think I’ve bought new shoes in at least seven years. So I plan to wear these until they fall apart.

The owner of this place gave me a pair of house slippers on last veterans day. Along with a hand drawn card from her kids.

It's been many decades since anyone has done such a thing for me.

I hardly know her and her family.
