@FreddieUK Thank you. Since retirement I’ve tended to wear plain black sweaters or tees and black or blue jeans with a black kimono coat, so these add a bit of spice. 😊

"A man says, ‘I need a shirt’. So he goes to the store, sees a shirt, kills the shirt and brings it home. Women, on the other hand, are gatherers…" 😅

@bijouxbroussard That is true for me. I go out with a single minded mission and march a straight trajectory to what I need, buy it, and come home.

My wife on the other hand touches every object at the mall. :P

@SwampFlower I tend to buy "sensible" shoes (which is why I have so many Birkies). My baby sister, a nurse, swears by these. Apparently they’re popular with medical staff, who are always on their feet.

Around the year 2000 or so, our daughter gave me a tie-dyed t-shirt that she made as part of a Girl Scout activity.

One day, at a medical appointment, I took off my shirt and had that t-shirt on underneath. Both the doctor and the nurse reacted to it in surprise.

I just raised each of my hands, formed my fingers into a "V" and said, "Peace, sisters!"
