I'm a fan of Brooks and New Balance.

Any good brand which fits you good and you feel comfortable. It’s good to go to good shoe store where they can check your feet and find a proper fit.

Merrell.. my favorites I've got a few pair.. New balance makes a quality shoe..

Sketchers. I'm a diabetic and have to very good care of my feet.

I guess it depends on what you're gonna be running from and where . I dont run, i mean i would run. But it would have to be like a wild animal chasing me. Plus i would have to get running shoes so whatever it is chasing me is probably gonna catch me anyways...
