Do kids these days see the 2020s as modern times?

Because when I grew up in the 80s, we saw the year 2000 as the far away future, where there would be amazing technology and scientific advancement

Ya I remember that. A lot of people thought the world would end in 2000 too. Hard to believe it was 25 years ago.
