I Am Allergic to Cheap Jewelry

I don’t think I am but my sister definitely is. One time, I bought her a brand new belly button ring that was so pretty and she was delighted by it too. 🤩 At first, anyway... After a day or so of wearing it, she started complaining about it feeling uncomfortable and soon, her piercing started swelling and feeling itchy like if it was getting infected! 😱 She had to remove it and clean it with some disinfectant stuff before she was able to put any jewelry back in it again. I had gotten that belly ring from some street vendor that was obviously selling jewelry made from cheap, poor quality metal. Damn them! That one was so pretty too. 🥺 My sister and I both learned the hard way that getting quality materials for your jewelry matters, especially when it comes to body piercings. Now I know to always buy belly button rings from reputable piercing shops and jewelry stores, lol. 😬
