The background came out a little weird but I like the jeans and tee

Cute! Have you tried body suit tops?

@TexChik Thank you for all the information. I only saw the simple body suits but I will take a longer look around and see what is available.

@SilkandLace2 You are so sweet!!
The white belt is a nice touch. It adds that little bit of dimension.🤗

Have you ever considered boot cut jeans?
You have just the right body shape for them . They add implied 'curves' to the silhouette.

As someone who has broad shoulders and narrow hips too, they are my most feminine looking jeans.(Esp with heels)

@OogieBoogie That is some wonderful advice. I really appreciate you sharing that with me. I've always looked at what I think would look cute, never thinking about that "silhouette" look. Now I really have so many more ways to look at the all around features of clothes.

Those ladies have been through it all, and they would definitely be the ones to listen to.
@ReneeT ikr.
I mist admit that the bits of advice given to me have encouraged me to look at my outfit, (when I'm not slobbing and going comfy😅), the same way I look at my art.
It's a language, clothing style is a language just like art ..it's shape, texture, colour , tone and line....and how it all works against and with each other .
You can change the whole feel of an outfit by something as simple as a tiny belt, (like you did).
I think this is why some people exude style, and some just never hit the mark .

It's the whole thing, all the items and accessories and hair and make up - all together.
Maybe even the perfume 🤷

Too many go .."oooh, I like that hairstyle" or " I like that shirt", buy it, and are unhappy with it, coz it doesn't give them that 'image' they saw that made them want it.
And thats coz it was 'part' of a whole 'look' chosen to make that style .

I think that's why fashion is such a big thing - it gives people something to copy.
Personal style takes decisions, and trial and error to find .
ReneeT · 61-69, M
@OogieBoogieFor sure. When I am buying something (any type of clothing, shoes, accessories) I usually tend to think what would go good with that. I never thought of it that way, but you are right in that clothing is really an art form. It should never be a slap dashed form to throw together.

I may like something I see, but if I try and imagine what it would look like on me, that is where the buying decisions come in. And one of these days I may constantly hit everything right! 🤭
