Tell me something about you that confuses people ?

I think being misunderstood.
I keep many unexpressed thoughts to myself which might be part of the problem.🤔

I'm a straight man, I identity as he, him. My profile says female. I wear womens clothing 24/7 and have been wearing full time publicly since the late 1980s

Married for over 2 decades to the same woman. She even met me while I wearing a skirt and stockings.

I never hid the fact I just prefer womenswear over mens

One of friends on here even call me Ma'am and knows I'm a big hairy man

They think I'm talented and good at what I do but don't understand why I don't utilize it.
I don't know how to explain that I feel visceral disgust towards self-marketing, self-promotion and self-advertisement as if I was a marketeer at the stall shouting "buy my fish, it's fresh, you won't get any better fish anywhere else!" again and again all day long. Especially when not even I believe that.

I am an old white guy born into a family of old white guys, many of which were career military, and I am a retired career soldier and combat vet, yet staunchly liberal.

If confuses the hell out of them... and many others.

Why I can’t snap out of it, pull myself up by my bootstraps and lead a fulfilling life.

I'm very good at the job that goes with my career and I tend to make very good money at it.

I hate my career choice and the job that goes with it

I usually try to be aware of both sides, or all aspects, of an issue. That can leave me 'undecided'; and unless I have to perform some action I'm fine with that.

A misanthropic person who advocates for special needs children and works in special education

I am an introvert personality type and do not generally give a rat's ass about most people.
But chose as a career and have worked continuously in the Hospitality field and have been very successful managing staff and dealing with guests in person and over the phone.

I can't read "body language" to the extent that I don't even believe it's real. That confuses people because they expect me to "read" their invisible, non-verbal signals, and I just don't notice them at all, but I do notice the confused look on their faces when that happens. 😂
