I've been wearing suits regularly since I was 12

Being academically advanced and entering high school at age 12 the gulf between my intellectual development and that of my physicality became painfully obvious. While the former was rather prodigious it certainly did not help me fit in. The latter, in a world of 14 & 15 yr old girls simply cast me as the "A+ girl with the "A" cup. I wanted to look more "mature" and suit ensembles tended to hide my "inadequacies". My very indulgent and quite wealthy grandmother (who always looked exquisite) was only too happy to provide me with a fabulous collection. They gave me such confidence. I wore them with pride.

A cup of not to be sneezed at..

@Convivial But sometimes to be "pawed". Most discomfitting.

@ElegantAlex depends on who'd doing the pawing ...

There was a threesome of girls who resented anyone dressing nicely. They considered themselves to be the doyennes of fashion in their designer clothes. They would accost me and "paw" my outfit, as if there was some dust on it. But when it became apparent the fabric was of high quality they became quite jealous and most unpleasant.
