Go in and try them on…then walk out into the main storefront wearing them. See how THAT feels for you…if you don’t feel self conscious in the outfit (and you love it) then take it!!

You’re not even that old

I understand you are self conscious about gaining weight. That does not mean, however, that you have to wear burlap sackcloth. I am sure that you can find a flattering LBD and some fun dresses. Maybe it now it just means not wearing sexy LBDs and fun flirty dresses all the time.

Of course, you'll need to dress for the occasion. Your attire for hiking in the Grand Canyon NP is obviously not the same as going someplace to visit museums and going to the theater.

I'm sure that you're the apple of your husband's eye. Beauty is more than how you physically look. Hope you have loads of fun.
