@HairbrushDiva My situation was resolved similarly, although I wish didn't need to resort to what I did.

@ElegantAlex Nobody regrets getting revenge on bullies around here.

@HairbrushDiva I always consider that living well is the best revenge. My tormentors were not prepared to let that happen. When I was violently attacked I had no choice.

@ElegantAlex We believe in "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth" here, and we all stand together. Anyone who messes with one of us messes with all of us.

@HairbrushDiva I was, for most part, on my own. I did have some friends but they were never around when that threesome showed up. I did not want to do what I did. Everyone emerged damaged.

@ElegantAlex There are considerably more than three of us who would have stuck up for you against that threesome. There are considerably more than three hundred of us who would.

@ElegantAlex You'd have the pleasure of watching bullies getting beaten up and hospitalised, if they dared to venture into these parts to begin with.

@HairbrushDiva The threesome who had harassed me were unaware that despite my rather delicate look I am actually quite strong and regularly train at Krav Maga (Israeli self-defence). But they persisted and tried to physically assault me. They found out the hard way.

@HairbrushDiva My problem is that here I'm about the only one I know of who can do that. Not saying it did not present challenges but bullies, from my experience, are extremely ineffective when they encounter resistance

@ElegantAlex At least you proved you can look after yourself.

@HairbrushDiva Sustained some damage (slashed with knife). Dress completely ruined (and it was one of my piano performance dresses!). But, at least I was on my feet and in a position to walk away from the scene. The other three were not.
