I Have Worn a Bikini
The title of this group, and for that matter, a lot of the posts in it, make it sound like wearing a bikini is some sort of wildly outrageous, unheard of and shocking activity, and I have to ask if this is something peculiar to conservative America.
I say that because over here in Australia, especially in the tropics where I live, bikinis are standard beach, pool and leisure wear. Practically every girl above 4 or 5 years old has at least one, if not a whole collection, to wear and they can been seen not only on every populated beach but on the streets of almost every resort town or location you care to mention.
Are we really such a delightful exception to the rule?
