Do you think boy's should be allowed to wear dresses, skirts & blouses high heels and and makeup as a norm.

I think everybody should be able to wear whatever the hell they want without being stared at and judged like a piece of shit
Cate20 · 31-35, T
Yes why not ?
No need to get any permission from anyone ; when girls were starts to wear males cloths then they were not took any permissions from anyone, and they were start wear and people accepted that all , slowly
StevexStephie · 70-79
@Cate20 Absolutely!
sally1981 · 41-45, F
If that is what they like and feel comfortable wearing.

Yes definitely! If they feel comfortable and happy in certain clothes let them express themselves 😊
wintersecret · 41-45, M
it's boy own choice to go with it or not.
Same like the choice girl has
Gilberte · 36-40, F

If it makes them happy and comfortable with themselves, then yeah, why not... They are only pieces of cloth and leather.
DressyGirl · 22-25, F
It seemed pretty acceptable in my HS. I even lent several of my loveliest outfits to some of them.

It was something I did more with my heart than my head. It did not turn out well.
I think if they are old enough to make the conscious decision to wear them they should be allowed to wear whatever makes them happy 😊
TheotherAndy · 41-45, M
Agreed :) @FemboyJessi
sally1981 · 41-45, F
I have always said people should wear what they like and are happy wearing.
Youni19 · 26-30, F
People can do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anybody.
I just wish they knew what looks good and what doesn't.
Makeup can look really good on some guys but horrible on others. Dresses and skirts, on the other hand.. there aren't many men that can pull that off. I haven't seen one as of yet
Pineapple · 100+, F
@Youni19: I wouldn't say it even matters if it 'looks good'... what looks good to some people will look crap to others. And vice versa. If it's something that makes someone feel comfortable, it doesn't affect anyone else so go ahead and wear the shit out of it
Hiashi · 26-30, M
If they wish to wear something of the sort without doubt, then I believe it to be fine and they are welcome to do so if that is what they want. As the next generation of people from the 90s to the present and future continue to come into the world, the "social norms" of old become more and more obsolete and people are able to choose who they want to be.

We are in a generation where people are more free then ever in history to live life the way they want, and even if it takes a while, sooner or more and more people will come to be more open minded and accepting of what people do and wish to do in the present day.

Regardless of reason, if a boy or guy wants to wear skirts, dresses, etc. and they feel they have the confidence to do it to whatever extent or that they don't care what others think to begin with, then they are more then welcome and the only person stopping them is themselves if they wanted to to begin with, although getting the confidence to do something like this if they want to due to bad and judgmental people and even self-doubt makes it easier said then done to find such confidence.

tl;dr
If they decide of their accord that they want to wear dresses, skirts, etc. then they are more then welcome to go by their heart's desire and simply do so.
Kellygirl · 36-40, F
Boys and girls should be allowed to dress however they want, but for young ones the parent should help them make the right choices.
Paulena · 70-79, M
Be it for fun or an expression of self, I believe it is fine. I hope someday that the stigma that it is wrong will end
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
Yes if that's what they choose to wear it should be up to them.
Cate20 · 31-35, T
I think no need of any law on dress and makeup ! It should be much fun ! But some random religious people are giving their heads in every matter before any reason at the name of God !
God havent any problem in it !
Cassandra1 · 41-45, T
Yes only if they wanted to. I would have loved it.
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
If they want to yes
sally1981 · 41-45, F
@Rhodesianman Who made up the dress rules, if Men want to wear silk knickers and dresses.....why not.
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
@sally1981 I agree

if that's what turns them on
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
I think it doesnt matter what I think.
nilammagi · 46-50, F
I think you do make a point. But it should be done to all boys. Not anyone for particular. Or else he will be bullied and the main reason for doing so will be lost. The idea you are pitching out over hear is really innovative and it will tame those unruly boys down. However, it has its side effects which cannot be undermined.
lubovont · 70-79, M
Yes. I was raised that way but when I reached my 20s I forced myself to "go straight" becuase it was so unaccepted. the whole "fluid gender" and "Trans" thing was unknown. But I dont regret my time as a girl
Reboot153 · 22-25, M
There was a really good "Adam Ruins Everything" concerning if video games are only for boys or for girls. It does an amazing job of going into gender identity and how a lot of them came about over the years. Really good video.

@DJsmum2006: they're different from the norm to begin with and the more people out there living their truth helps to normalize the behavior for the rest of society.

Either way the person in question suffers.
I don't see crazy lunatics ever changing their minds about hating people who are different. Sad, but true.@OnusProbandi:
@DJsmum2006: a lot of them know to hide their bigotry when they know it's not tolerated.

Maybe that's just wishful thinkibg
mathsman · 70-79, M
Is almost better hidden
Then revealed to selected ones
HatBroski · M

Why not? People have a right to happiness
CdAshley · 51-55, M
Yes I do but then again I do so if I’m for it.
Pervboss · 46-50, M
My friends son wears dresses a lot. He seems normal
sally1981 · 41-45, F
If they want to let them.
michaelhh · 61-69, M
If it's to be 'a norm', I think it's important not to try to look like a woman - be yourself, happy as a man who happens to like the idea of what most women take for granted. They can wear what they like, from either wardrobe, and no one bats an eyelid. I wear heels all day most days. Most people don't notice; the rest don't care. No one's ever commented to me.

with everything that people should be concerned about what anybody wears should not be one of them. if it was something dealing with hate such as a Nazi uniform, no but wear that dress
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F
I suppose, but only if he is willing to put up with shaving his legs, etc.

@silkydrawers I was assuming that by "boys" the questioner meant males.
Jennagurl · 46-50, T
If it's the preferred attire, let us do it.
Jennagurl · 46-50, T
@sally1981 very pretty and so natural for me.
sally1981 · 41-45, F
@Jennagurl Better than Men's cotton pants.
Jennagurl · 46-50, T
@sally1981 so much better and I'm unmanly anyway.
michaelhh · 61-69, M
robbie, what's your thought in this? You asked the question but you don't seem to have contributed to the thread.
TheotherAndy · 41-45, M
I absolutely think a person should be able to feel free expressing who they are
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
Yes we should be able too!
sally1981 · 41-45, F
@PTCdresser57 I agree with you, dress should be an optional choice.Sally
Jennagurl · 46-50, T
@sally1981 I agree.
Direwolf · 41-45, M
People should be able to dress how they feel comfortable.
CdAshley · 51-55, M

rachelsj · 22-25, F
