That was one of the most bizarre fads ever I my opinion. I have no idea if that is still a thing but I certainly thought it was silly. Then again I'm not a "youngster" that thinks I'm making a statement.
I used to laugh so hard when I would see video's of guys literally getting into fights and they would have to stop to pull their pants up after their baggy pants fell down to their knees. Or someone trying to run from something and they would have to try to hold their pants up as they was running. It was hilarious but their fashion choice didn't seem very practical.

Yes! Very common where I live. Just saw a mid-30s dad at school to pick up his kid, had to pull his pants up every minute as he was walking. 🙄
